I don't know about y'all but, I feel like it took spring forever to get here. It kinda felt like winter for a long while after the much anticipated 'first day of spring' but, finally, it's here!

spring means longer days, trading clouds for sunshine, bare trees for flowers, and puffer jackets for colorful maxi dresses.

and while I'm sure we're all lovin' the sun coming back out to play and heating things up, the warmer weather means it's time for the skincare switch up; starting to store the heavier creams and reaching for the lighter lotions, serums, and even mists.

with that, here are the face, lip, and body, products that I've been enjoying so far as we head into this season:

raw sugar moisture loving body wash

I never really had a smell that I would associate with spring until I started using this body wash. It's literally so refreshing.

along with the scent being absolutely delicious, it has a really light texture, super lathery, and really does make your skin feel squeaky clean after using it but, without ever feeling dry. even more so, it's filled with skin lovin' ingredients like avocado and pear extract which are great hydrators that are loaded with antioxidants to help heal skin from environmental stressors and free radicals. It also bears the 'target clean' seal meaning is free of bad for you stuff like propyl-parabens, butyl-parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and many more!

raw sugar loving ultra nourishing lotion

now I didn't buy this lotion because it's good for sensitive skin because my skin is by no means sensitive, but it's good to know that it's gentle enough for those who do have sensitive skin!

the real reason that I reached for it is because of the ingredients.

this lotion is filled with green tea, cucumber, and aloe vera extracts. all of these are great for hydrating skin while calming inflammation and redness, which is great to have as things warm up. It's goes on super light and feels so fresh on your skin.

what's more awesome is the technology that they use to extract the ingredients is cold press technology which is said to maintain the integrity of the ingredients when extracting them from their respective fruits.

just like the body wash above, it also bears the 'target clean' seal.

bare republic mineral sunscreen lotion

this is a very unique sunscreen for real, for real. you gotta make sure you shake it really well so it doesn't come out watery. the interesting thing about it is that it comes out as a cream but, when you rub it on your skin it transforms into this super-light sheer powder. It almost feels like a finishing powder. once rubbed in all the way it doesn't leave a white film that most mineral sunscreens have the tendency to do, and never feels greasy. to top it off, it's under $20! I got it on sale at target for $11.24 but, even at normal price it's $14.99.

youth to the people adaptogen mist

ever since I used the youth to the people adaptogen deep moisture cream in the fall, I've fallen in love with adaptogens and their ability to combat the stress that our skin is constantly under between pollution, heat, and sweat from working out. so I definitely wanted to keep them in my routine, but the cream is too dense for my skin this time of year. that's where this baby has come in perfectly to fill the void. It houses the exact same ingredients as the cream but in a super light mist that I have found to work wonders on calming redness that come with active breakouts, or if I'm being real...the redness from not keepin' my damn fingers off my face.

ole henriksen banana bright eye creme

ladies, ladies, ladies, it is never too early to start using eye cream. and while this one is a lil' pricy at $39, you don't need to use a lot at a time so, that $39 lasts. best believe if I'm goin' to drop money on something and talk about it I'ma make sure to get my money's worth! but back to the matter at hand...eye cream. or in this case, creme.💁🏻‍♀️

this one is super simple and light weight which is nice because who wants to feel like their eyelids are greasy? It leaves the skin around your eyes feeling soft and hydrated. It's filled with vitamin c and collagen, both of which have been known to fighting the signs of aging (or preventing them).

now, I don't have wrinkles around my eyes so I can't attest to how it can help with those but, I will say, when I have dark circles around my eyes from days that I may be a little more sleep deprived than normal, it definitely gives my eyes a lil' pick-me-up, 'cause you know...fake it 'til you make it!

glow recipe lip pop

listen here y'all...this lip balm is LITERALLY the glowed up version of our elementary school lip smackers, down to the watermelon scent. It's so playful that it make me feel like a kid again--and who doesn't like feelin' playful in the springtime--yet, so bougie that it reminds me that I'm a grown a** woman who's tryna have baby soft lips.

when you put it on you can feel little tiny gentle beads--from coconut flower sugar--that very lightly exfoliate your lips (but you don't have to rinse it off).

It uses watermelon seed oil to moisturize your lips and, honestly, you don't even have to heavily layer it to feel that hydration. one to two passes is enough if you're just looking to hydrate, but if you use three or more layers it actually tints your lips pink; just in case you were feelin' a lil' pop of color.

each of these have been linked for you if you'd like to read up on them and/or check them out. I am by no means sponsored or obligated to link and/or review them.

that's all today! I hope you found this helpful if you're looking to start revamping parts of your skincare routine as we get into the warmer months. thanks so much for reading! feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

talk soon!💕
